A blog site for Kimota94 (that's me) to use for topics that interest me. Those topics originally included: comic books, Major League Baseball, the music and genius of Peter Gabriel and Magnolia Electric Company, the odd work-related topic like Agile Project Delivery, and any other little thing that comes to mind on any given day. Lately, it's mostly been that last one!

Silver Age Comic Trivia I
Who was the first person to set off Spider-Man's spider-sense?
Different kind of sensation, and I think Betty Brant or, more likely, Gwen Stacy, would've set it off long before MJ was anything other than Harry Osborn's girl...
I don't know for sure, but since Spider-man showed up in someone ELSE'S comic before getting his own title, I will GUESS that it was actually a superhero that set it off, and NOT a villain per se. Possibly one of the members of the Fantastic Four?? The Human Torch? The Thing?
Well, Spidey showed up Amazing Fantasy # 15 first, but that wasn't really anyone else's comic (it just featured different characters each issue). From there he jumped directly to his own title, Amazing Spider-Man, and then guest-starred the FF in his first issue. An interesting question would be, after his debut, when did he next appear outside his own title? I'd have to think about that and probably don't know the answer without doing a bit of research!
That tingling sensation? Must have been MJ.
