It tooks us four months (to the day) to find a suitable day for it, but today Vicki and I finally replaced the broken window in our garage that resulted from the massive icicle falling off the eavestrough on New Year's Eve. It was actually a beautiful day for a project like that, and we had fun working together. I'm better at the destructive aspects - pulling the shards out, clearing out the old putty and making it so the new pane can fit in - while Vicki excels where a lighter touch is required - puttying the new window in place and making it look good.
I'm just glad not to have this chore hanging over my head anymore, for the first time in so long!
