According to this Variety article, the trial to settle the dispute between Warner Brothers and 20th Century Fox, over the rights to the Watchmen movie, now has a start date: Jan 6/09, exactly 2 months ahead of the planned release date for the film!
I suspect that we'll be hearing as much about this trial's proceeding, in the comic book community at least, as we usually hear about celebrity cases. I'm certainly rooting for Warner Brothers this time around, and I imagine the vast majority of my brethren are, as well...
