Oh sure, there were may more important things happening in the world than whatever was going on in my life at the time, but I still think that something I said to Vicki last night was pretty noteworthy. After playing many hours of my brand new Resistance 2 game (online co-op) and watching the U.S. elect a good, decent and smart man to lead them and the world out of the current pile of crap that we find ourselves in, I said, "I think this is the happiest I've ever been on a night when the Rangers lost!"
That's right, even a 2-1 defeat at home at the hands of the hated Islanders wasn't enough to sour my mood last night.
