Half-Life Fans: Take Note!

Even though I've given up on PC gaming (in favour of the PS/3 and 360 variety), I may just have to cross my fingers and hope that my current machine in the basement can handle Black Mesa, which is due out next year. I'm still a little confused as to just what exactly it is, even after reading the Wikipedia entry for it, but anything so closely tied to the Half-Life franchise is naturally going to appeal to me.
