Didn't feel like typing these up last night, and besides: the delay provided any takers with a period of time during which they couldn't be tempted to cheat and peek at the answers before thinking through the questions.
Anyway, click on the Comments link below and you'll see the A's to these Q's.

1) How did Batman's parents die?
Shot dead by a criminal, Joe Chill, after leaving a screening of Zorro, while young son Bruce could only stand and watch The first Michael Keaton Bat-flick screwed around with the killer's identity, making it the pre-Joker Jack Nicholson, but for most of Bats' comic history, the killer was a career criminal named Joe Chill.
2) Who was Peter Parker's first girlfriend?
Betty Brant J Jonah Jameson's long-suffering secretary was Spidey's first love. In classic Stan Lee fashion, she had strong feelings toward Peter but developed an aversion to Spidey following an incident in which her brother was killed and she held the web-slinger responsible. Unlike his other two great loves - Gwen Stacy and MJ Watson - Betty has never learned that Spidey and Parker are one and the same, as far as I know.
3) Which hero was always fighting the Melter in the 60s?
Iron Man Makes sense, right? You're wearing a clunky suit of armour (originally) that gives you all kinds of strength and gadgets, so the natural threat for you is someone who.. well, melts stuff!
4) What colour was Daredevil's original costume?
Yellow DD may be blind, but apparently Stan Lee or Bill Everett (writer and artist of Daredevil # 1 in 1964) were colour-blind! This fashion disaster lasted for the six issues, just long enough for fans to write in and tell the pro's how silly he looked, I guess!
5) Who were the original 4 members of the Teen Titans, in the story where they used that group name for the first time?
Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl A trick question for comic insiders, since three of the four - sans Wonder Girl - appeared half a year earlier, as a tryout of the concept, but were never referred to as the Teen Titans! Also known among fans as the Junior Justice League, the Titans have hung around for about 40 years now, and only aged about 5 years over that time! But what kid wouldn't enjoy reading about a superhero group composed entirely of sidekicks? Not this one, that's for sure!
6) Name any four of the six gods who provide their attributes to Billy Batson when he's transformed, via a magic word, into his superheroic form.
Solomon - wisdom, Hercules - strength, Atlas - stamina, Zeus - power, Achilles - courage, Mercury - speed Take the first letter of each god's name and see what you spell.. that's right: with one magic word, Shazam!, Billy Batson becomes Captain Marvel! Each of the six gods bequeathed a portion of their skill to him, although, to be honest, I never really saw many examples of the wisdom of Solomon being exhibited by the lovable galoot!
