It's still almost 20 posts away, but Tammy and I were discussing the possibility of co-writing a short story to mark that milestone. With her here all week it seems like a golden opportunity, now that stomach flu season is (hopefully) behind us. We agreed we'd keep it fairly short, rather than tackling
an
epic
like
this!
So that's a notional goal for the remaining half of the 10 days off. Feel free to submit story ideas on the off-chance we'd actually use one, since we have nothing to go on so far!!

Ahh story ideas... It's always hard to come up with one yourself, so I will try my best to supply some things that may trigger something you can really work with.
i) Flooding starts in the basement, but discovering the cause is just the beginning...
ii) Daughter reveals a shocking event to her father, who has had the same experience... okay this one is pretty lame, but maybe you can work with it.
iii) Off-hand comment about the butter over dinner leads to the death of the family pet.
iv) Two words: Angry insobriety.
v) A cyclist is crushed into a bus and a woman in the window above watches, the stories of their lives are woven into an instantaneous tragic tapestry. This is my best idea for now, and it can use with further explanation.

Tell a tale of the secret desires of Superman..how deep down inside this Golden-Boy-Truth-Telling-Helper-Of-Mankind Man of Steel actually goes off to deserted parts of the Earth to dismember unsuspecting wildlife to keep his sanity..because for crying out loud, even Kryptonians get stressed out!
