Yikes! Not a single exciting DC comic among the six I'll be buying tomorrow! That's pathetic, gang-from-DC!
Fantastic Four # 541 - Mostly makes the list because it'll be interesting to see what Civil War developments happen in this issue, since we've had a peek at the possible new line-up to come
New Avengers: Illuminati # 1 - More Civil War stuff, as the Illuminati is the set of heroes - including Tony "Iron Man" Stark, Reed Richards, Dr Strange, Namor and Prof X - who were working behind the scenes, we're now told, setting plans in motion that have now culminated in the Superhero Registration Act of Civil War
I hope the lackluster quality of this week's list is just an anomaly. The end of the year used to be the time when all kinds of specials - some of them quite high end, like original hardcover graphic novels or oversized books - would show up, perfectly timed to be Christmas presents for that special comic fan in your life. But even the comic store guy was remarking how little of that there is to be found this year.

I just finished FF #540; the two Amazing Spider-Mans that span it seemed a lot more interesting. Then again, I've never had much affinity for the Four.
The first two "Bullet Points" have been interesting. The alternative origin stories are totally outside of any sort of continuity (and from what I've heard will stay that way) but I like 'em so far.
