Up A Cat

(As in, "we have an extra cat," not some perverted variation of "up yours.")

Our erstwhile cat (currently Tammy's cat), Rascal, is home for the holidays, or as I'm sure he'd put it, "Finally out of that crazy apartment where the parties never stop and that girl never picks up her clothes!" We've got him through to the New Year, and he'll be joined by his birthday-celebrating owner when she returns from Toronto at the end of next week.

I really enjoy when Rascal comes for visits because he settles back in within minutes of arriving and Queen of the House Lucy (our cat) doesn't really even seem to notice that anything's changed. Eventually they'll start chasing each other around the house (in a playful way) just like they used to before Rascal moved away. And if we're lucky, it won't even be in the middle of the night!
