Shovelling Is Sometimes A Losing Battle

The snow's coming down so heavily right now that, in the time it took Vicki and I to clear our 2 car wide, 2 car long driveway tonight, it had filled back in again behind us! Obviously the new snow wasn't as deep as the stuff we were removing, but it probably amounted to half an inch or more, in the space of about 30 minutes!

Now the question is: do we go back out and shovel again before going to bed tonight?

I just got back in from about 60 minutes of shovelling. Man it sucked. The plough put the really heavy stuff at the end of the driveway and by the time I was done there was about two inches of snow in the driveway where I started.

Plough??? what plough??? I lived in the North East corner of London and I think our area is the last one on the list. Sometimes we don't see a plough until 2-3 days later. After seeing what's in front of my driveway, I don't think we will see one until late Sunday (if we're lucky). I didn't have a chance to gas/oil up the snow thrower :-). After watching the 'Inconvient truth' and seeing the warm temperature last week, I thought I have at least a couple weeks to prep up the snow thrower :-)
