This week's episode was about boss-man Jack being written a small part in the next TGS (The Girly Show) episode, after which we find out that he's possibly the worst actor the world has ever seen. We see a series of quick-cut takes of him trying to get through a 2-minute speech that are funnier than any real outtakes I've ever seen! How Alec Baldwin could do those scenes without completely screwing up his ability to ever act again is beyond me. I particularly loved the one where he's calling out "Line!" and then berating the director because he'd previously instructed her not to feed him his line, no matter how much he begged.
And Tina Fey's Liz Lemon continues to plumb new depths of ridicule, as when Jack says to her, "You know, if you were any other woman on the face of the planet, I'd be turned on right now." Don't worry, Jack.. she turns me on enough for both of us!
