Some fans are speculating that Marvel is planning to kill of MJ in the comics, since Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada really hates the fact that Spider-Man is married. He claims it limits the things they can do with the character too severely, and he wishes he could "put that genie back in the bottle." And now there's a storyline spinning out of Civil War that appears to be headed toward someone using Spidey's public identity to hurt him through someone close to him.. like Aunt May or MJ!
But it may not just be Mrs Parker the younger who's going the way of the dodo bird.. via a link posted on Warren Ellis' blog, there's this claim that redheads will soon be more (if "soon" can be used to describe a time by which virtually everyone alive today will already be dead, that is).
