Since most people have weighed in and would probably like their Blog Points sooner rather than later, and because I have some time free right now, I'll provide the answers 24 hours earlier than promised! You can still make your guesses as comments on the original post as long as you don't cheat.
Blog Points won were:
Tammy - 3 (#'s 1, 3 & 4)
PeterJ (whom technology sadly works against, it appears) - 3 (#s 5, 7 & 9)
Jimmy - 1 (# 2)
Vicki - 3 (#s 1, 6 and 6 bonus)
(Interesting that nobody got #s 8 or 10.)

1) Young Frankenstein, and the bodily fluids exchanged allowed Boyle, the monster, to gain some of scientist Wilder's reason and calmness.. while Wilder was gifted with a little more... ummm... a little more.... (hit that high note, Ms Teri Garr!)
2) It was the Arizona Quintuplets that seemed an over-blessing to the childless Cage and Hunter, and so they decided to steal just one of the 5 babies born to the Arizonas.
3) Goose goose duck, but really just Goose.
4) The Sweet Hereafter, which introduced everyone to the concept well-known to litigation lawyers in the US: when someone dies, it's always somebody's fault!
5) Sudden Impact, not Dirty Harry as any rational human might expect. But it's still Dirty Harry, aka Harry Callahan, who uttered the words, so don't feel bad if you got it wrong.
6) Miss Shirley MacLaine, looking quite fetching indeed, lost her silver screen virginity with The Trouble With Harry, a delightfully funny-but-dark yarn in which Harry, MacLaine's ex-husband, just won't stay put, despite being dead!
7) The Third Man, which I suppose I'll have to watch again one of these days in case it grows on me more than it did the first time. Harry Lime and his endless race through the sewers was bad enough, but that damned zither music drove me crazy!
8) David Lynch directed, and John Hurt starred in, The Elephant Man. No one seemed able to put it all together and get the Blog Point for this one, which is funny because I figured asking just one or the other would be way too easy!
9) Ethan and Joel Coen wrote, and Joel Coen directed, Fargo. Got to at least know their first names to win points around here, though!
10) John Hurt makes his second appearance in these answers as the original chest-burst victim, early on in Alien (the first in the series). Who can forget him wolfing down his food in the mess hall of the ship, only to start coughing it all back up again before.. well, you know the rest!
