Back By Unpopular Demand: Comic Trivia

One Blog Point per right answer, between now and midnight tomorrow (Monday). As usual, we continue to observe the Honour System here, meaning everyone gets to play but you're on your best behaviour to not look up, or look at anyone else's answers before submitting your own. After all, if you don't have honour, what do you have (besides totally useless Blog Points and a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach)? Answers will be posted, as comments, on a followup entry sometime early in the week.

1) Under what name was Miracleman originally known in his country of origin (England)?

2) What was the name of Captain America's sidekick during World War II?

3) Which superhero has an oath that starts out, "In brightest day, in blackest night.."?

4) Who was the first herald of Galactus to be shown in the comics?

5) Name any member of the Squadron Supreme, along with their Justice League counterpart/inspiration.

6) At what famous landmark did Gwen Stacy die?

7) What was the name of the Alan Moore story that featured Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman bringing Superman birthday presents at his Fortress of Solitude? Bonus Blog Point if you can correctly name the Robin who was in that story.

8) Name two of the three lead characters in the comic series Preacher.

9) What was the first comic book I ever bought? (title and issue #, and no cheating!)

10) Name four types of least favourite comic covers of mine.

Good luck to you all!

See, I have been reading your Blog, but the volume of posts far exceeds my ability to handily win these trivia contests and display my super-human talents.
